Each patch represents a chapter in our story. They symbolize the dedicated EMTs, paramedics, support staff, board members, and community leaders who believed in building an ambulance service our communities could depend on. While our look has evolved over the years, one thing has never changed—our commitment to providing compassionate, professional emergency medical care.

For more than 15 years, Township Ambulance Authority has proudly served the residents of Central Lake, Chestonia, Custer, Forest Home, Helena, Kearney, Mancelona, Star, and Warner Townships with one mission: to provide exceptional emergency medical services whenever and wherever they are needed.

The service we provide today was built on the dedication, vision, and hard work of those who came before us. Their commitment laid the foundation for the organization we are today, and we are proud to carry that mission forward. Every EMT, paramedic, dispatcher, support staff member, board member, volunteer, and community supporter has played a role in shaping Township Ambulance Authority into the organization it is today. Their dedication and sacrifice continue to inspire those who proudly wear the patch today.

Because of the unwavering support of our residents, township officials, businesses, and community partners, we continue to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services throughout our nine-township district. Your trust and continued support have allowed us to grow, improve, and be there when our neighbors need us most.

Emergency medicine is constantly evolving, and so are we. Our providers are committed to ongoing education, advanced training, and staying current with the latest medical guidelines, treatments, and technology. Every certification earned, every training completed, and every skill practiced is an investment in providing the highest level of care possible for the communities we proudly serve.

Whether responding to a life-threatening emergency, comforting a family during a difficult time, or answering a call for help in the middle of the night, our mission remains unchanged—to serve with excellence, compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

As our patches have changed through the years, they reflect much more than new artwork. They tell the story of an organization that has continued to grow stronger through the dedication of its people and the confidence of the communities it serves. They remind us where we’ve been, celebrate where we are today, and inspire us as we look toward the future.
